Mesa Public Schools – Custodial Department

Mesa Public Schools Custodial Department is an in-house cleaning services provider dedicated to maintaining a safe, clean, and healthy learning environment for our students, staff, and community. We are committed to fostering a welcoming and supportive workplace, enabling us to effectively serve a district spanning 200 square miles, with 78 schools and programs and over 50,000 students. We strongly believe in the value of clean and the importance of neurodiversity in the workplace.

Our department, in collaboration with the district, has taken meaningful steps to support this vision by partnering with Special Education to offer year-round custodial training and ISSA certifications to neurodiverse and general high school students through our Custodial Training Center and EST. This program helps students successfully transition into the workforce by equipping them with practical skills and recognized credentials.

As custodians, we are proud to support Mesa Public Schools’ Promise: Every student is known by name, served by strength and need, and graduates ready for college, career and community. Our work contributes to this promise by providing safe and healthy spaces for learning and growth—demonstrating the power and impact of the Value of Clean.
