Learning Independence For Tomorrow
Located in Clearwater, Florida, Learning Independence for Tomorrow (LiFT) is a unique educational community dedicated to serving neurodiverse learners. As its only campus, the Clearwater location provides a welcoming, inclusive environment for students with autism, ADHD, learning differences, and related needs. With small class sizes averaging a 6:1 student-to-teacher ratio, LiFT offers highly personalized instruction that supports both academic success and personal growth.
Founded in 2013 with just 17 students, LiFT has grown into a vibrant community now serving more than 130 learners through multiple programs. These include LiFT Academy (kindergarten through high school), the LiFT University Transition Program for young adults 18-22, and the LiFT Adult Training Program for adults 22 and up, offering vocational training and community engagement. Each program is intentionally designed to build independence, self-confidence, and readiness for life beyond the classroom.
LiFT’s mission—“to inspire and empower people with neurodiversity to learn, thrive, and succeed”—is reflected in every aspect of campus life. Students gain practical skills, career readiness, and entrepreneurial experience through opportunities like student-run micro-businesses. The school also partners with local organizations, creating inclusive opportunities that extend into the wider community.
In every sense, LiFT’s Clearwater campus is a purpose-driven space where every learner’s individuality is celebrated, nurtured, and empowered to flourish.
