(KADD) is Kurdistan Academy for Developmental Disorders, a specialized center based in Sulaymaniyah, Iraq, dedicated to supporting individuals with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental differences. KADD was established with a mission to provide high-quality, evidence-based services in a safe, inclusive, and family-centered environment that respects cultural values while aligning with international best practices.

The center offers a multidisciplinary approach, bringing together Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and special education services. Programs are individualized to meet the unique needs of each child, focusing on communication, social skills, independence, emotional regulation, and daily living skills. KADD places strong emphasis on early intervention, structured learning, and measurable progress through continuous assessment and data-driven decision-making.

KADD is designed to be welcoming and sensory-aware, with thoughtfully planned therapy rooms, group classrooms, sensory spaces, and parent waiting areas. Staff members receive specialized autism training and ongoing professional development to ensure consistency, safety, and understanding in every interaction. Families are viewed as partners, and parent education and collaboration are integral parts of service delivery.

As the first center in the region pursuing international certifications, KADD aims to raise the standard of autism services in Iraq and provide families with confidence that their children are supported by trained professionals in an accessible, respectful, and supportive environment.
