Children’s Resource & Referral of Santa Barbara County

Children’s Resource & Referral of Santa Barbara County is a nonprofit organization dedicated to developing strong and healthy families by providing education, care, and resource systems to children, parents, and caregivers, with a focused commitment to low-income and underrepresented communities. Through an integrated network of programs, including WINGS Infant Center & Preschool and the CRR Discovery Museum, the organization creates inclusive, high-quality environments where children and families can learn, grow, and thrive.

At WINGS Infant Center & Preschool, our mission is to provide a safe, nurturing, and inclusive early learning environment that builds a strong foundation for lifelong success. Approximately one in four children served has identified disabilities, reflecting our deep commitment to inclusive early care and education. These environments are intentionally designed to support all learners, ensuring children are equipped for success in the K–12 system and beyond.

The CRR Discovery Museum extends this mission into the broader community by offering hands-on exhibits and educational experiences that spark curiosity, promote STEM exploration, and strengthen family connections. As part of our accessibility efforts, the museum hosts Sensory Nights on the second and fourth Saturday of each month from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, providing free admission, dimmed lighting, and a modified environment to better support neurodivergent visitors.

Across all locations, facilities are fully wheelchair accessible, with pathways, entrances, and public spaces designed to accommodate mobility needs. Select sites also offer elevator access to ensure full building accessibility.
