International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES) proudly announces that Family Hope Center for People with Disabilities has become the first organization in Qatar to earn the Accreditation for Comprehensive Student Wellbeing™ (ACSW). This milestone recognizes the center’s commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive, and wellbeing-focused environments for individuals with developmental and learning differences.
As part of the ACSW accreditation process, all staff at Family Hope Center completed specialized training through IBCCES focused on student wellbeing, accessibility, inclusion, and support strategies for individuals with diverse learning and developmental needs. The accreditation process also included a comprehensive onsite review conducted by IBCCES to evaluate existing practices, accessibility considerations, and organizational standards that contribute to a supportive and inclusive environment.

The ACSW accreditation is awarded to organizations that demonstrate a strong commitment to implementing evidence-based practices that support wellbeing, inclusion, accessibility, and individualized support systems. The program recognizes organizations that prioritize continuous staff training and operational standards that positively impact the individuals and families they serve.
“True leadership is not measured by authority, but by the lives we uplift, the voices we empower, and the hope we create every single day,” said the leadership team at Family Hope Center for People with Disabilities. “At Family Hope Centre for People with Disabilities, leadership is not about position or titles. It is about compassion in action, patience in difficult moments, and the unwavering belief that every child deserves the opportunity to grow, learn, and belong. We lead with heart, purpose, and dignity, creating a safe and empowering environment where children with different abilities are celebrated for who they are, not limited by what the world expects from them.”

Family Hope Center’s accreditation reflects its continued efforts to ensure individuals receive support from trained professionals within a structured, nurturing, and accessible environment focused on overall wellbeing and inclusion.
“We are honored to recognize Family Hope Center for People with Disabilities as the first organization in Qatar to achieve the ACSW4 accreditation,” said Myron Pincomb, CEO and board chairman of IBCCES. “Their commitment to staff training, accessibility, and comprehensive wellbeing support demonstrates meaningful leadership in creating environments where individuals can thrive and feel supported.”

The ACC designation expands on that program and includes IBCCES training and certification for the public safety, education, healthcare and workplace sectors.
IBCCES also created the Accessibility App, AutismTravel.com, and AccessibilityCertified.com – free resources for individuals with a variety of neurodiversities and disabilities, listing certified locations and connecting individuals to other resources and each other.
