Ability Center, a licensed diagnostic and habilitation facility located in the heart of Riyadh, earns the designation of Certified Autism Center™ (CAC), granted by the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES). This recognition is awarded to organizations that have completed autism-specific training and certification, ensuring that staff have the knowledge and skills to better support autistic and sensory-sensitive individuals.
The Ability Center is dedicated to empowering children and adolescents with diverse neurodevelopmental profiles to reach their fullest potential through comprehensive, evidence-based, and individualized care. The center’s calm, family-friendly setting and easily accessible location provide comfort and convenience for both children and their families.

Under the supervision of its Pediatric Neurology Clinic, Ability Center offers a wide range of integrated services, including pediatric neurology evaluations and diagnosis, genetic analysis, full developmental and psychological assessments, speech and language pathology (SLP), occupational therapy (OT), applied behavior analysis (ABA), and other evidence-based interventions. Additionally, the center provides neurofeedback therapy to enhance attention, emotional regulation, and self-help skills, as well as innovative programs utilizing robot-assisted therapy, AI-driven learning, and VR-based social and emotional development tools.
“At Ability Center, we are deeply committed to empowering children and adolescents with neurodevelopmental challenges and their families. Achieving the Certified Autism Center™ designation is a testament to our dedication to providing world-class, evidence-based care in an inclusive and supportive environment. This milestone reflects our vision to set new standards of excellence in habilitation services in Saudi Arabia.” Says Dr.Mohammed Aldosari
To further ensure comfort and accessibility, the Ability Center features wheelchair-accessible entrances and pathways, dedicated elevators, therapy rooms designed for easy access, and clear directional signage. These accessibility measures, paired with highly trained staff and advanced therapeutic technology, reinforce the center’s mission to create an inclusive, supportive environment where every child can thrive.

“IBCCES is proud to partner with the Ability Center as they continue to enhance services for autistic and sensory-sensitive individuals,” says Myron Pincomb, CEO and board chairman of IBCCES. “Their integration of advanced therapeutic tools, accessibility features, and a dedicated, well-trained team exemplifies the high standard of care that the Certified Autism Center™ program stands for.”

Delivering the global standard for training and certification in the fields of autism, neurodiversity, and accessibility – IBCCES provides a series of certification programs that empower professionals to be leaders in their field and improve the outcomes for the individuals they serve. For over two decades, IBCCES has been a global leader, setting the industry standard in autism and cognitive differences training. IBCCES works in over 111 countries and provides training in 8 languages, and its programs have been recognized around the world as the leading benchmark in training and certification.
In addition to individual certification programs, IBCCES partners with cities, destinations, and organizations on initiatives like the Certified Autism Destination™ (CAD) and Autism Certified City™ (ACC), ensuring autistic and sensory-sensitive residents and visitors feel welcomed and safe. Destinations that achieve the CAD designation have completed a specialized program that ensures a multitude of recreation, hospitality and entertainment organizations have completed an autism and sensory-sensitivity training, certification and IBCCES facilities review process. The ACC designation expands on that program and includes IBCCES training and certification for the public safety, education, healthcare and workplace sectors.
IBCCES also created the Accessibility App, AutismTravel.com, and CertifiedAutismCenter.com – free resources for individuals with a variety of neurodiversities and disabilities, listing certified locations and connecting individuals to other resources and each other.
